I understand that FOACAS may need to discuss the foster dog, and I agree to respond to FOACAS calls, texts or emails in a timely fashion.

I understand that I am fostering the animal until it gets adopted. FOACAS does not begin the Adoption process until the animal has been in your home for a few weeks. Fosters should be prepared to foster an animal for up to 60 days

The Foster Parent will care for the Animal as if the Animal were their own pet. I release FOACAS and its agents from all claims that I might have from any injury or damage that I should sustain while assisting FOACAS. I certify that I have never been convicted of animal cruelty, neglect or abandonment of an animal or any related criminal charge in Maryland or any other state. The Foster Parent and FOACAS agree that FOACAS will retain ownership and will make all decisions regarding the adoption of the Animal(s) fostered. The Foster Parent agrees to release Animal back to FOACAS upon demand. Should the Foster Parent wish to be considered to adopt the Foster Animal, they are required to fill out an Adoption Application through FOACAS website (www.foacas.org). Fostering does not give priority for adoption. I certify that all the above information is true and correct and give my permission to contact my vetinarian listed on the application.
